My path to early childhood education wasn't a straight line, but looking back, every step was leading me here.
I grew up with a deep, restless curiosity. That love for learning initially led me to the world of technical precision, where I secured a University Rank in Automobile Engineering from Anna University and began my career in manufacturing at Royal Enfield. It was here that I learned the value of "systems"—how thoughtful processes, attention to detail, and high standards build something truly great.
From Systems to Soul
While my days were spent in engineering, my heart began to drift toward the classroom. I started volunteering with eVidyaloka, teaching children in rural government schools. Watching their eyes light up with a "eureka" moment changed me. I realized that while building machines was challenging, building minds was a calling.
I decided to merge my love for systems with my passion for people. I pursued an MBA from IIM Sirmaur, specializing in Finance and Operations, and topped the international program at SDA Bocconi in Italy. I didn't just want to start a school; I wanted to understand how to build a world-class educational ecosystem.
Understanding How Children Learn
To truly master the "how" of education, I spent years at the heart of the K-12 sector. At K12 Techno Services (Orchids The International School Group) and at Cuemath, I didn't just observe; I built. From developing math curricula and training over 1,000 teachers to teaching students across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, I gained a global perspective on how children think, where they stumble, and what makes them thrive.
Later, working on the Tamil Nadu Government’s Ennum Ezhuthum initiative through the Madhi Foundation, I saw firsthand the critical importance of foundational literacy. It reinforced a truth I now hold dear:

I founded Elephant Nest to be the place I wish every child could have. It is the culmination of everything I’ve learned—from the precision of engineering and the strategy of an MBA to the warmth of a classroom.
